David Frederick Maier 
David was born in 1826 in Krehwinkel, Germany. David's father was Johann David Maier and his mother was Anna Katherine Krauter. His paternal grandparents were Johann Adam Maier and Katherine Schwartz; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Krauter and Magdalina Bleile. He was an only child. He died at the age of 65 in 1891 in Northfield Township, Washtenaw Co., Mich.. He was buried in St.John's Cemetary, Northfield Township.-
