Maria was born in 1792 in Dungenheim, Cochem-Zell, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.  Maria's father was Anton Reiden and her mother was Catherine Flohrs.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 81 on November 3rd, 1873 in Springwells, WayneCo., Michigan.
